About Grace

Grace Lauther is a mezzo-soprano from Naples, Florida. She recently graduated with her Masters in Voice Performance from Eastman School of Music. With Eastman, she performed the roles of Madame de Croissy in Dialogues des Carmélites as well as Federico García Lorca in Osvaldo Golijov's Ainadamar. She recieved her Bachelors of Music in Voice Performance from Stetson University.

This 2025-2026 season Grace returned to her native Southwest Florida with multiple engagements with both Gulfshore Opera and Opera Naples. She began the season as an Emerging Artist with Gulfshore Opera, them covering the role of Mercédès and performing in the chorus in their regional touring production of Carmen.

In January 2026, Grace made her solo debut as the Page in Rigoletto with Vero Beach Opera in her fourth year with the company. She will return to Vero Beach this March to cover the role of Lola in Cavalleria rusticana.

This May, she will making her house debut with Salt Marsh Opera in Connecticut performing as Tisbe in La Cenerentola. She will be returning to the company this October as the Third Wood Nymph in Rusalka.

In January and February, Grace joined Opera Naples’ Resident Artists to play the role of Jack in the John Davies children’s opera Jack and the Beanstalk, which toured to 15 schools across Collier County. She was also involved in the choruses for Turandot and L’elisir d’amore in Opera Naples’ Festival Under the Stars series in March.

Last summer, she performed as Komponist in Ariadne auf Naxos with Dramatic Voices Program Berlin. She also had the pleasure of performing as Cherubino and Marcellina in Le nozze di Figaro with Keystone Opera’s summer program.

Past summer programs include Songfest at Pomona College in Claremont, CA, FIO-Italia in Urbania, Italy, and Opera Naples’ Summer Youth Program.

When Grace is not singing, she likes running, hiking, graphic design, nature photography, and creative writing.
